Hmmmmm

I got really excited when I read the beginning.......PPW and painted headlights.....

Earlier today actually I was just thinking, we know black on black looks awesome, gray on gray looks awesome....so what about white on white......

Black looks good....did you think about doin white? I don't kno whether or not it'd looks like a buncha rice crap or not.

Congrats on doing it yourself....mad props.

the light output is the same bcuz the 06 is just a straight beam. the earlier models has reflectors, and if u paint those then u lose the light output. i need a set of 06's.

+1 06' is a projector so area around that doesnt matter. 03-05' Z's use reflectors, even though they look like small reflectors they're not.

OP-nice work, I love that look.

I recently got some 06 lights and am heavily debating on this this mod, i've heard the light output rule for the 06's before but only IN THEORY, I wanted some one with personal experience to tell me if the light output looks exactly the same as before the lights were painted....just precautious....

The lights are actually OFF in the last pic. Kinda cool the projector gets all these colors now.

^Nice & welcome to the club

Just a suggestion...but I think that would look 100x better if you upgraded to the V2 Nismo bumper since it has a more sleak look which would definitely set-off your custom headlights. Plus as a subtle thing to give your ride an even cleaner look, I'd paint the side mirror bases PPW

Think about it

Now all you need is to crack them back open and to paint the projector bezels (sp?) white instead of silver.

I was gonna suggest white on white on the dark pics but now that i see the daytime pics + whole car... I have to say it matches well!

Thanks for the comments guys!

The front bumper is an Aerosync painted 2 tone. So it looks like a lip.

I also wonder what white on white would look like.. Ive seen that look on an 02 eclipse, white on white everything.. It was so sick.. it looked fake.. almost too pure....

Hmmmm I'm still on the fence about how it looks on PPW but that Black 350 with the painted headlights looks absolutely incredible. I have Silver Alloy so I wonder what it would look like.
