7500 to make the targa happen? that seems high considering it hasn't been proven not to leak, and there is no storage mechanism.

You'd really be pulling in money hand over fist if this was nearer to 5k, you had a storage mechanism for the top, you could prove that the top wouldn't leak while in a car wash, and you could show some examples of how you maintain rigidity, or that significant rigidity isn't sacrificed.

My wife and I were just talking about T Tops in the Z but this would be much better. I think even if you did not do this to make money you should look into it....as Greedy said, you would make a TON of money if you could make it work and not leak. Keep looking into it and let us know.

seriously man, do a search on this site. a year or so ago there was a company over here that was offering to do it. Things happened with deposits and the company coming through... basically a shady situation with them.

However, there were like 30 people signed up to do it. I'll look for the thread.

edit: here it is https://my350z.com/forum/showthread....ighlight=targa

Nice job on the targa! It's been talked about for years, and you guys actually came through and did it. I would love to see you guys offering the conversion as a service instead of just for this one-off show car.
