Default Automatic Shift **** and Boot swap

Did anyone here w/ a automatic 350z make this modification yet? I saw it at *********.com and I really liked how it made the interior look. I bought the automatic 350z because there is a lot of traffic where I live and I didn't want to drive a manual car, but I hate how the shift **** and everything else looks. I use the tip tronic alot so I really think this will make it look a lot better so I purchased a momo automatic shift **** with their performance boot today at SWT in La Habra. I was just wondering has anyone done this modification yet? If so how do you like it?

There are several threads here about switching shift ***** and installing boots that will make your 5AT look like a 6 MT to an outside observer, if that's your objective. IMHO, I just don't understand why someone would want to do this. If you want to make your 5AT perform better, there are mods available. If it's just for looks, why bother?

I want to do it because I don't like the look of the automatic shift **** as I stated above guys. and sorry about not using the search section. I wasn't thinking too much about it. I just don't like how the stock automatic shift **** looks and how the P R N D is on the car. Shift boot will cover that up and the momo automatic shift **** looks pretty good I think.

BTW here is the link to where I first saw this done

Look in the Do It Yourself Section. There's a whole thread on it. Your link isn't working because this site blocks the tech site.

I'm a member there (tech) as well. Here's a 5 page thread on a "Do-it-Yourself". enjoy.
