Default OVER-Rolling Your Fenders

Is this possible? BUMP for these Works, btw, bc I just ordered the same size all around, but am wondering what would happen if you "over-rolled" your fenders. Take a look at one of the posts @ https://my350z.com/forum/showthread.php?t=252119 POST# 10.

Would the Car Panel pieces just start coming apart on the outside of the car if you OVER-do it?? How do you know what setting to use on the fender-roller and what might be too much for your car to take? This goes out to all you DIY'ers. Thx.

I would think that the paint would crack if you bend in the lip too much. Also if you apply too much pressure and try to push the lip flat the panel might start to deform and get wavy.

He is referring to the front fenders, which are "prerolled" from the factory. The panels won't come apart if you overroll, but you will likely crack your paint

If you overroll ie "pull" your fenders, yes it will crack, guaranteed.
