Since I have a 06 its either this generic china made lip or a Ings. Im not happy at all with the fitment of this lip ( check out the 06/07 official lip thread for gap issues ) .Im not going to bother paying 120+ bucks to paint this generic lip and will move on to a full bumper once I get tired of this lip. I know unpainted kits is blasphemy but it doesnt look half bad ...What you guys think?

 

Looks pretty good to me from the pics. I love the Veilside style lip though.

 

Looks good to me , have it painted and you will not notice the gap as much.

 

Wouldnt I notice it more if its painted...The dark gap blends in now from a distance

I also have an 06 and wondering where you got this...and where is the gap...I'm sure you can correct with heat gun or mild silicone use...
I know, not trying to ghetto mod this but mild cosmetic I feel...

a proffesional shop could probably fix the fitment with that gap...but i like it sans the gap and the non paintedness

pooplet..it looks good. i noticed the gaps in the other thread. the 06-ers dont have too many options which sucks. everyone wants our head lights & tail lights, but we want their lips. lol.

im going to order one once they get the PFRP back in stock regardless of the gaps. its all we got! lol. thats sad, but it doesnt look TOO too bad. im going to leave mine unpainted or perhaps paint it a flat black.

but that last shot is MOOOOONEY! i like it dude.

nice lip but I think you need the sides at a minimum to keep the look

 

V1 lip = hot, V1 sides = not


I'm planning on using a V1 lip, Nismo sides, and Nismo rears. IMO V1 sides look tacky.

Your pictures don't look anywhere near as bad as some of the other members with this lip. Then again, you didn't post close-ups. I've pretty much abandoned the idea af an 06+ lip. Varis makes one (if you can get it). I think it would look pretty good installed (even though it doesn't in the pictures I've seen).

I was all set to get a Varis CF lip, but now (becasue of availability issues) I think I'm gonna roll with a full front bumper. Nismo V2 or C-West, in my case.
