no clear coat!!
Get this, I ordered a nismo replica wing, which I sent to a body shop to install. They quoted me about 350 dollars to paint and install. So I told them to go ahead and call me if any problems. I just happened to stop by today and they said the spoiler was of bad quality and they would have to use bondo to make it sit flat in the hatch, thus adding to the total install cost. I told them that I did not want to pay all this for a bad molded spoiler so I went to pick up the car an noted a very deep scratch in the corner of the hatch. They said they could easily buff it out without ruining the clearcoat. Well They buffed right through the clear coat and still didn't get it out. Now they have to repaint the whole rear hatch. Plus I need to get a new spoiler. What do you think? Where should I go with this. Sincerely, RED
In the past, when I have needed body work and not known where to go (I moved a lot in the military), I always found that going to the Nissan (or whatever make car) dealer, and either using their shop, or the shop they send cars to with damage, always provided top notch results.
Dealerships always get cars in with scrapes that need touching up, and they know where to get them fixed so the buyer can't tell!
