Ordered bat's overlay for the rear strut brace. I want to totally remove the silver part so i can make sure i get i layed on perfect, but it looks pretty tough to get to. Anyone ever takin' that thing apart?? Thanks!

You pull up the sides, then the front and back and then it pops off.
