they are such a pain in the bum man..you have to teach everyone, and i mean everyone how to use them or they will F them up so quickly, do you use your car as a daily drier or show/weekend car..if a weekend car no problem but everyday use you will be regretting every second, but just my 2 cents you have to be happy with what you have

I researched this for a little bit too a while ago. Decided against it since everyone was saying how big of a hassle it was. Mainly done for looks, thus a lot of show cars have them. If you do decide to get the kit from vertical doors, don't get it through verticaldoors.com because I've seen those kits go for ~$700 on the classifieds here and on ebay. Some guy said they got one for $250 even. I did hear that installing it is a biatch and would cost ~$1000

I have to agree if I drove my car every day it would suck!!! but seeing as I just show it and need the points I just deal with them now. I am thinking about taking mine off soon because there just played out. Plus I want a widebody hehe

I think it's funny how some owners (not just Z) say how it has lambo doors because it's a show car. I thought show cars were supposed to show off your creativity, not a list of parts that EVERYONE has. I hope that I never see one more "show" civic with the SAME EXACT lambo doors, aluminum wing, and clear lights.
