How does a body shop repair hail damage?

look in a phone book, find a seller of DRY ICE, you will use really think gloves or BBQ tongs to handle the ice, place it in the dents..it will cause the metal to contract and it will pop back to it's original shape UNLESS it has a crease in it.

yes, although I used something a bit colder - liquid Nitrogen, the principle was based on the dry ice technique. heated metal expands, cold metal contracts....when you super cool it it pulls itself tight. I have heard you can heat the area and than cool it to remove more stubborn dents, but we didn't need it on the dents we did.
