EVO-R 350Z Spoiler ready
Any news on the CF version? Do you have pics of the spoiler (FRP or otherwise) painted and on a Z?
And just to be clear, the spoiler is from a mold of the Balsarini, correct? I.e. an exact replica?

We'd had several posts here saying that they actually covered the holes. I guess I'm just confused.
I'm definitely not going to buy anything I also have to have the hatch painted on. What is the deal with your shots above? Is that not a factory hatch, or have they been filled?

I am looking for a spoiler that is similar to this one, but comes much further off the back. Anyone know of one like this? The best way I can describe it is like a Porsche whale tail. I think that would look best on these cars.
If they don't have anything like that available this one is pretty nice too.

Received this spoiler today and am very pleased with it!
First, I'm not sure how this was pulled off, but I paid for it on Wednesday last week and it arrived at my office this morning (from Taiwan)! Packing was excellent and it even included a roll of double sided tape (BTW the factory spoiler is held on with double sided tape also so I'm not that concerned about it coming off). It has been primed (gray) and is extremely sturdy. I actually had the real Balsarini spoiler on order with Vivid and was told that the quality leaves much to be desired (and was on back order). I estimate it's weight at ~3 pounds. I tried to set it on the rear of the car, but unfortunately the logo gets in the way so it wouldn't sit flat (see second picture). There are two holes on the bottom to screw into, and the enitre spoiler is "solid" and could not (and does not need to be) filled with expansion foam.
As far as the badge, it appears to be very close to covering up the holes. I am really tempted to remove the badge to check it's actual fit and the whole hole issue, but will probably wait until it goes to the shop in a couple of weeks... I will post pictures when it is done, so hang in there.

The holes thing kills it for me as currently designed. I'm disappointed.

I have a whole hatch with me. When I made this one I had the wing sit on top of thi hatch. Make sure it fits good. So on this new one, I'll do the same. I'll have it made base on the shape of the hatch. So the fittemnt line will be perfect.
Roger, it looks good man. I had the spoiler air shipped right away after i received your order. I cannot wait till you take a picture of it painted installed. Thanks for your great help. I'll have more pics coming soon on other cars installed.

OK, just like the bank robber in the first Dirty Harry movie said, "I gots to know" what is under the Nissan emblem so, with the help of Steve the auto body guy, we took it off to check the fitment (word ?) of the spoiler. After taking the rear emblem off (we ended up using some leather thread that is used to repair baseball gloves-work much better than fishing line or floss), we were able to finally manuever the spoiler into the correct position.
Good news:Fitment was great. (sorry no picture)
Bad news: As expected, the holes are not covered up! After the spoiler is set correctly, there is a space of ~1 inch between the bottom edge of the spoiler and the holes. Now hold on a minute! There's some (possibly) good news around the corner.
Since I had anticipated this horrible turn of events, my plan B was to use a Z Emblem from the side of the car. As this is an extremely important measurement, we used a beer can as a measuring device. Doesn't look good as it may still leave a little bit of the holes showing. Thank God the beer was full!
Here's the good part! I needed something that was flat on the top that could cover the holes. I thought about triming the Nissan logo so that it just said "Nissan" without the circle, but wasn't too excited about that and was looking forward to having that off the back of my car. I checked the outside of the car but really didn't see anything else. But then, as I opened the door to leave, I saw it! The door sill!!! The door sill has the perfect sized "Z". I removed the Z from the door sill (the same one is on the strut bar), temporarily placed some two side tape on the back of it and stuck it on ethe back for fitment. It is perfect! BTW I do plan on taking the "350Z" logo off the back of the car, although you could just take off the "z" if you wanted to keep "350" on the car. You may not like it, but it looks great to the few people that saw it in person.
I should have the spoiler installed within 2 weeks. I left it with Steve t.a.b.g. and he plans on painting it this week sometime!
Here's the pictures:
(The scratches will be buffed out when the spoiler is installed.)
The Z is a not perfectly straight but you get the idea. Again I will be removing the "350 Z" logo.

That looks great anyone2u. I was thinking, maybe I should have a badge logo come with the spoiler for customers to cover up the hole. I had this spoiler made this way, cuz Balsarini is exactly the same. So what do you guys think? Make a badge for this spoiler? What kind of logo would most of people prefer? Anyone2u, once this is done you'll be the first to get it. Any ideas?
