Very cool. The Pearl looks awesome, but the Spun looks like it would match better if you go by the photos on Rick's website. Anybody have pics of the spun?

+1 Maybe I should have gotten spun instead of pearl...looks like a better match for the interior.

I ordered the Spun after getting these pics from Eazzzzzzy. I sent Rick's an email and they told me "The spun **** is actually Aluminum with a brushed look and the Pearl is the same exact now with a clear coat."

It just seems to me that the spun matches the accents in the interior better. We shall see.

Does this thread on to the stick? and if it does has anyone got the one with the gears listed on it? Just wanted to know if they lined up the way they should?

The **** just screws on. This was in the email with my confirmation.( Customer has been great so far with these guys. I ordered it yesterday and it shipped out same day priority mail 2-3 day delivery time)...

"If you ordered the shift pattern and it does not align properly when you screw the **** down, remove the ****, spread some blue Loctite (available at most hardware stores -- make sure you get blue, not red) on the shaft threads, screw the **** all the way down, the back it off until it aligns where you want it. Let the Loctite dry for an hour. This will hold the **** tightly in place under normal use, but enable you to remove it with a sharp twist of the wrist if you ever have to take it off."

Alignment as you are refering to is if for example you have a shift pattern on the ****. With these, just crank it down. I unscrew mine and tighten it through out the day if I take a drive, just out of boredom.

BTW, I suspect the pearl as mentioned that has the clear coat on it, Is actually Clear pearl, If your like me and rest your hand on the shifter,it WOULD rub off in time. My spun has shined up on the top, but Im going to chuck it in the lathe and "respin" it, The same could be done using a drill with an adapter and fine sandpaper

I personally don't like it. I think the ball shift **** style doesn't go well with the shift boot. It looks like unerected uncircumcised *****.

I have been running this **** for almost 2 yrs now. got a bunch of **** about having a door **** for a shifter.
The thing you all are missing is a finishing adapter to make the transition from the **** to the shift boot.

just for ***** I tried to go back to my stock **** and I couldn't. the Voodoo **** is the **** for 35 bucks. That paired with the stock shifter feels dramatically shorter without the trouble of a short shifter. No increased effort, no increased notchiness.
