Does this thread on to the stick? and if it does has anyone got the one with the gears listed on it? Just wanted to know if they lined up the way they should?

"If you ordered the shift pattern and it does not align properly when you screw the **** down, remove the ****, spread some blue Loctite (available at most hardware stores -- make sure you get blue, not red) on the shaft threads, screw the **** all the way down, the back it off until it aligns where you want it. Let the Loctite dry for an hour. This will hold the **** tightly in place under normal use, but enable you to remove it with a sharp twist of the wrist if you ever have to take it off."

BTW, I suspect the pearl as mentioned that has the clear coat on it, Is actually Clear pearl, If your like me and rest your hand on the shifter,it WOULD rub off in time. My spun has shined up on the top, but Im going to chuck it in the lathe and "respin" it, The same could be done using a drill with an adapter and fine sandpaper
