Default Hm...anyone find some better looking Keys?

Call me crazy, metrosexual, whatever you want but I am pretty sure I'm not the only one who wondered why our keys looks so cheap! I am wondering if anyone have found/made a key that looks better then the stock OEM Z key. I mean...imagine something like this except with 350z or just Z on it!

I think a key is very important. It turns your car on and you always carry it with you. A good key also gives off a sort of status simple when compared with the car you drive. The Z is one of the sexiest out there and I think the key should reflect that too.

Well there are blank Ferrari keys on EBay from time to time.

It doesn't really matter that much how the key looks other than the snob factor.

Why would you care what anyone else thinks. Anyway, you can always buy a Nismo keyring.

^^^ cause it's annoying to know that versa's have better looking keyfobs than you.

i'd love to see a conversion to the audi/vw "pop out" style key done. Heck, even the older BMW keys with the plastic portion of the key being the remote.

Actually, this was an option in Japan, but research showed that those keys are not compatible with USDM Z's.

The plastic portion wasn't the remote. It was a small light. E36 for life.

Firstly, I could care less about impressing people with how my friggin car key looks when I go out...I just don't need the attention. Secondly, using an Enzo key for a 350z is technically rice. Thirdly, that Jimmy540i guy is a scam artist, don't buy from him, and please don't advertise his stuff here.

+1 That's actually funny, you want to "impress" people with the fact you drive a $30k car. I'm pretty sure the guys driving Lambos, and Ferraris just drool when you drive past them don't they?

Actually, on a "looks per dollar spent" basis, they might!

It depends on the model... I was driving an X5 for a long time, and the plastic part of the key was the remote.

The coolest part of that was that the battery in the key charged when you put it in the ignition.

Default too much modding

OK, I'll admit. My Z is stock (though I'm getting a pop charger next week - gotta start somewhere). But have you guys modded your cars to the point where the only thing left is the key?? Perhaps you can get one that's slotted and cross-drilled. It will be lighter, and will dissipate the friction caused by your thumb and forefinger turning it so quickly.
