Experience with Clear Bra
Getting one installed on the new ride, but I have options of the brand.
Avery Denison
Venture
3M
The shop is recommending the AD, and uses all three. Any thoughts?

Never can go wrong with 3m.

I am aware that other brands are cheaper in cost, but the most expensive doesn't always mean it's better.
He stated that the AD had better protection, and can be buffed if it gets smeared a little.
I'll see if I can find out a price difference.

Thats where I'm going, the place I get my cars tinted recommended me.
I'm bringing my buddies C4S and he's hooking it up for $350 for just the bumper...I don't like CBs on metal parts of cars, the line shows too much for me.

Go see my friends over at Starshield Armor. They do GREAT work. They clear bra'ed my Amuse front end. They can do pretty much any custom bumper and they use 3M. Talk to Monique.

Had Clear Shield 'clear bra' installed this week on my new 2007 MB Touring Coupe.
They did the front grill, head lights, mirrors, and hood covering just over the hump. $525.00 smackaroos
Looks really good! I am happy with the results. You can barely see where the line is.. even on black.
Much better to get the clear bra on a new car IMO before the rocks chip the front end.
I would think it would be more expensive to repaint later on than to invest in the clear bra early on...
Here is a link to the Clear Shield site:

Here's the pattern image:

The lower front lip was also done on my Z. Not shown on pattern.
