remove the leather coverings from the manual stick? and replace it with something like this?

i wonder how that does for quick shifting ... lol i think the HP of the lambo makes up for the time it takes for shifting =P

Looks stylish, but functionally, i just don't like gated shifters as well a non gated shifter.

yeah, i'm thinking of doing this but only if it doesn't cost to much and it won't effect the gearbox. i think it makes it look very clean compare to the leather lying around there.

You can't use a gated shift base with a manual like ours (or most any car that doesn't come factory with a gated shifter). Besides, you wouldn't want it, gated shifters are unbelievably annoying.

sorry for bringing up an old thread but does anyone know someone that sells a kit for the Z. I would love to have a nice looking gated shifter with the long stick and round ball on top, it is just such a classy look. there is a reason that lambos come with gated shifters

With the close gates on the Z, I think this would practically impossible to implement.
