Default What woud you do to Fix the body damage?

As I posted previously, some idiot side swiped by Z and I had to replace the front passenger side fender and door shell. However, here is where I am doubting my decision. The rear quater panel was also scratched and flattened at one spot on the bulging wheel well. I had two options:

Replace Quater panel, which means cutting hte factory welds, seals as well as factory window seals. Nevermind a lot of work to a brand new car.

OR

Stick with stock Quater panel, have body shop pull the flattened area back out and smooth over. I will then retain factory welds as well as seals but having to live with a reconstructed rear quater panel.

What do you guys think?

I think most body shop experts would reshape the existing panel instead of replacing it. Keeping the factory welds are always better. Since your quarter panel doesn't seem to have much damage on it, I personally would just have the body shop reshape it to orignal shape.

Thanks for the advice guys, that's what I did and what the body shop told me in the first place. They could careless either way because the insurance is paying for it, but the body man told me that they can never duplicate the quality of the factory welds (i.e., finish). It's done and it looks great. I threw a replica NISMO kit on it and its decent again now. Thanks for your votes guys.
