Center Console Door
#4
We figured it out but w/o pictures it's going to be a little difficult to explain. . .
There should be a notch on both sides of the storage box that looks like the long end of the spring should rest on. There is also a small notch on the door that you need to twist the other end (the small end of the spring) and set into. It used a good amount of force to twist it around one rotation and place it into the door notch. The center of the spring should also go around the hinge where the door attaches to the storage unit where.
After looking at it and getting frustrated, I put it down and walked away for a good 20 minutes. Sometimes if you go back to a fresh start it helps, rather then sit there and get impatient.

Breaking it will equate to a $110-114 cubby replacement for '03 models. I broke the lid when it started getting stuck and popping up by itself when hitting small bumps. Dealership told me it was normal, and then the lid broke a month after warranty ended.
