Those looks sweet !! I was thinking about those mirrors as well, but the drawback for me is that they were silver as well.

Hey man you know I love your car..I think you should paint the base of the mirrors...personally

 

no way...i did the work on them and they look hot as **** in person. painting them would look good, dont get me wrong, but the cf is crazy nice if u saw them in person!

Your car looks great man. Its actually the first car I have ever seen with a SBC wing that I actually thought looked good. It must be the mountes that you used. Good luck with it. the only thing i noticed are the rims. They don't fit the car. some 19's with no lip would look great on it.

I just didn't like the look of the bases painted SB......well, it's not that I didn't like it, I just wasn't in love with it.

With CF bases, I'm in love.....

Since I had never been a salad bar fanatic in the past.....I think the fact the mounts are closer to the center as well as mounted as far back on the hatch which looks great with the entire kit, just my theory........

robin, now that you've had some time driving with these mirrors....how do you like them functionally? do you wish you hadn't done them? personally i think these mirrors look badass, but i always wondered if visibility went to crap with them...

 

I love them. Visibility improved IMO. In some ways it sucks to lose the power feature.....but I'm the only one who drives my car.....so I set them and haven't had to re-adjust them yet.

Contrary to what the "authentic" camp wants you to think.......these have stayed in their current position for a month now with some VERY spirited driving at ZdayZ and in general......

I couldn't be happier.....especially when you're dealing with great folks. It makes the experience that much more enjoyable.
