for a 2005 that didn't have the led stock tails...what do i need to do to install the JDM taillights? i read something about cutting/grinding my stock connectors...

does that mean i can never go back to the stock ones??

grind the lights, not the connectors.

You just shave the ridges/guides on the connectors.
It's easy to do, and you can go back to stock with
no problems what-so-ever.
I put the originals back on after I traded her in.
Easy to do.

I dunno, they look ok but at the same time it sorta looks ricey. Maybe it's just because I've seen way too many crappy cars with the clear "JDM" look. Damn ricers spoil everything.

^^ No you guys are wrong. I have seen a JDM clear tail tinted lightly and it was very very good looking, where-as if you tint a red tail light you come out with some ugly dark red/wine colored lights.
