Default Anyone ever does this before? (Painted muffler) *pics*

Ok... So I was looking my car over after I washed it & saw that the whole car looked nice and clean, except for the large faded out grey dump muffler in the back, It was just enough to bother me.. My car is silver w/ black & then... a slightly rusty lookin thing in the back

I decided to paint my muffler black, I had a Z decal laying around , so I slapped that on first, just to see what it would look like taking it off after I painted (I'm probably going to paint over the Z, it wouldnt look bad if I had some heat resistant silver.. but I dont, I just have black that is made for BBQ pit grills, so the heat wont bother it. The Z doesnt look great close up & it doesnt look completly shaped right because of the shape of the muffler.

The whole reason for this is mainly, I do not like when I can see a muffler sticking out from under someones car.. I think it's ugly & takes away from the body, I thought about getting silver paint & doing it that way but I relized I didnt want a big metal muffler to be seen.

Thanks

That's similar to what the Special Edition Fujitsubo Super Ti exhausts have. Here are my pics.

if seeing the muffler in the back bothers you so much why not change you're exhaust out with one with no muffler? eg. tanabe, jic, greddy, hks, pit?

my roommate had a greddy exhaust on his old sentra se-r specv and i painted the canister matte black for him since it was pretty big and hung down a lot. made it look a lot more clean.

I went ahead & painted over the Z, someone told me it looked like a 7 because the way it rolls under the muffler , wasnt pretty anyway lol , I dont have a lot of money & what I do have I need to save for bills, so I cant go out & buy a different muffler exaust setup. This might be just temp. but I DO like it though, it does make the Z look cleaner.

& yeah, sorry about the bad quality pics, I cant really get any light under the car though for my cam unless I had it jacked up But I'll try to take better pics here in a minute
