Default Taking headliner down

I searched the archives and people have said that the map lights come down w/ the headliner. Well it doesnt seem so for some reason. I dont want to damage the thin headliner by pulling too hard. I tried peeking in the to no avail.

EDIT: I got the actual lights unplugged and out, but the trim/sunglass holder is still in place but it's not holding the front of the headliner up. I cant see or feel what it is, but it doesnt want to pull down.

Remove the cover for the lights. From my memory I believe there are 2 small screws holding it up to prevent rattles.

Ill look when I get home. But I had no problem with mine. Just can't remember exactly how I did it.

the headliner comes off in one piece, lights and all. You just have to work it off gently.

Yes,,,,comes off in one piece. My sunglass holder and such all came down with the headliner. Take it slow,,,,watch the door seals,,,and once the rear snaps are popped out,,,watch the upper rear corners. They gave me fits. It has been several months since I did mine,,,but that is what I remember...Hope this helps
