Default Cubby Removal - Help!

Anyone removed their storage compartment (where the navigation would go) in the dash of their Z? I want to run a power lead to my tomtom one navigation and was looking for a bit of help before I hacked it up. Any pics of which screws I need to remove... stuff like that?

There should be screws at the base of the cubby under the gear ****. You also have to remove the HVAC control box and there are screws behind it. It has been awhile since I took mine out.

ZWildZ,,,check out the audio/video forum here on this site. There is a step-by-step guide on removing the center console. You can print it out and take it with you to your car,,,,,the write up worked great for me...

Depending on the year of your car,,,,if you have the cig lighter on pass side,,,,you can pick up the power lead there,,,or you can pick up the power lead on the harness that connects to the headunit. Make sure you tap the switched lead and not the constant, or you battery will drain...I hope this helps
