Default paint cai boxes?

I just put on the stillen dual cai, and I'm very happy with it. I'm sure I got a little performance out of it (which I originally bought it for), but the sound it makes it so damn mean!

I wanted opinions on painting the airboxes. I would sand it, paint it, and clear coat it. I would like to use factory PPW paint, but I don't know where to get it...

I've never really painted anything before, I'd probably try to paint something else first. How should I do it? What kind of sand paper should I use? How many coats of paint? Spray the paint or brush it? and with what?

Basically I have no idea what I'm doing and I'm looking for help and info on painting.

I'd also like opinions on if I should even bother painting it or not.
If I painted it, I'd only pain the outside of the box. I'd leave the inside of the box alone.

EDIT: Oh, and where the hell can I find this beautiful sparkly factory PPW paint anyway?
