Default What sandpaper grit for interior pieces?

Im getting the backend of my car shot this coming week and I told the bodyshop if they had any extra paint i wanted them to shoot the center console for me, from gauges to shifter

was wondering what grit sandpaper was good to use as starter and what grit for the finisher (they will be doing final sand after shooting it so im not worried about the 3rd grit) on it, im gonna completely prep it for them and just wanted to get started asap

If you are looking to get the bumps out of the center console area, I would use a very coarse grit. I would use a 60-100 grit to get the bumps out.

When I sanded my center console, it took nearly 5 hrs to do the entire thing. What color are you looking to do by the way? I have a silver center console that I am looking to part with. I put my Defi's where the stock 3 gauges are as well.

PM me if you have any other questions.

Its going to be Daytona so i wouldnt wanna buy the silver... unless you possibly have from shifter to back of seats part silver, i might consider that

It is only up to the shifter area. The silver is a perfect match for the rest of the interior silver pieces.
