why would you want to remove it? Carmax emblems are very JDM.

Some dealership put decals/stickers in certain places to hid scratches or dings, so you might want to check out what's under there.

Friend,

I would have car max prep the car for you. If they do not want to do it I will think that COULD be a warning flag.

I had a small scratch on my rear bumper. A forum member gave me the idea of covering the scratch with a nice decal. I thought that was a nice idea to do a quick fix untill i repair the damage the proper way.

George from Pasadena,

If it's a flat decal, you can usually pick up an edge with your fingernail then peel it off. If it's a 3-D badge then it will have double sided tape on the back holding it to the car. You can use dental floss to slide behind the badge to cut through the tape. Once you get the decal or badge off, you can remove the tape residue with Goo Gone.

If you have trouble getting either of them off, use a blow dryer to heat the area and that will soften the glue.

its a sticker decal that comes right of with a delicate fingernail scratching! If there is a gunk left just use a little goo gone simple, easy, painless!

the dealer put their vinyl stcker junk on the back of mine but I peeled it off the first day. It came off super easy since it was relatively fresh and new and also hot as hell outside.
