Default Vertical door help...

Hey guys before anyone flames me I did search and found nothing on this topic. I recently had vertical doors install a vertical door kit for me. Hoewever, after they have professionally installed it, I drove home, and heard the passenger side having an air leak. The leak is not too loud, but enough to get your attention with windows up and stereo off. The driverside has a wierd high pitched whistle when i go over 50 with the windows down. Its not a loud whistle just a high pitched one. Anyone ever have this and how did you resolve it?

yeah...i didn´t had that problem (cause idon´t have vertical doors) but it´s familiar to me. your doors aren´t adjusted, as they should be.i´m not commen with their vertical door kit, but i think u could fix it very "easy".
there might be 2 bolts (or something familiar) to align the doors.

and friend of mine has a vertical door kit on his Z and he told me that his are aligned as good as possibel but it is still louder in the inside, than with just the "oem mounted" doors.

u should aske them to fix this prob.

yeah something wrong with the alignment of your door. I never got that with my LSD kit. make sure your gap all around the door is the same. and the plane is the same. like flush all the way around. also do a water test to see if water leak in. that might tell you where the problem is

Thats not a bad idea. I will definatly give it a shot. As far as alignment, I know it is spot on to the stock alignment as I was there when they measured and taped the car with markings so they would not loose the gaps. The kit is exactly setup as my stock doors were. The only thing I realized is that the gromet coming out from the door (with all the wires) was removed and the wires were extended. I tried taping up the opening but it didnt seem to makea difference. I will try the water idea tomorrow, and also I will try finding a better gromet to fit in place of the missing one. Thanks guys.

your doors should not have any louder noise than stock...i got vert. doors and mine are just as quiete as they were before and ive had mine on for over 2 years now...if u are hearing a loud noise then there has to be a gap somewhere where it wasnt before...at high speeds the littlest gap could make a really loud noise. dont forget that.
