im having the dash painted in the morning...but im wondering if the just the skin of the door to the cubby comes off. seems like it does and i dont wanna bring the whole cubby assembly to the body shop. any advice is appreciated. thanks!

I couldnt get it separated and instead of spending the time and maybe ruining it, I just spent about a half an hour masking the thing really really well.
