Removing Pinstripe?
So when i bought my Z it came with a pinstripe on both sides and i didn't really mind it. However recently i'v wanted to start modding the appearance such as tinted windows, smoked headlights, carbon fiber accents, but i think it would all look strange with a bright white pinstripe running down the side.
I was wondering if you guys had any advice on how i could get the pinstripe off. Should i take it to the dealer and ask them to do it or do it myself? I'v heard articles about using a hairdryer but a couple sites said that the paint color would be different under the pinstripe. I figured since it's an 06, the paint under the stripe couldn't be that much different. Whats the safest way to remove a pinstripe without damaging the paint?
Or should i even remove it at all? Heres a pic where you can see the pinstripe down the side.

eewwwww! Mine came with a pinstripe too. I took lots of **** for it!
I finally borrowed one of those 3M eraser wheels and took it off. Its basically a wheel that attaches to a drill and is made of a gummy-like material like an eraser. It will remove the pinstribe without ruining the paint. You can probably get one at an autoparts store easy enough.
