Hail damage on the hood.
Ok so Hooray for the Aluminum hood being lightweight. Ok so now for the bad news. The F'inf hood is so flimsy smal peices of hail left about 5 dings in my hood. The rest of the car looks fine, no dents dings or scratches. I am wondering what the best course of action is for this ordeal. Should I spend $300 getting the dings out, and chance othe falling debris/hail denting the hood again or just buy a Carbon Hood that won't ever dent or ding? Anyone have experience with carbon aftermarket hoods?
PDR can do it most likely, shouldnt cost more than 200$, depending how difficult.
anyway, carbon wont dent, but it can crack and shatter, of course it wont do either of those from hail, but there much more than itd cost to repair what you have, specially if you have to paint it too.

I'm in Kansas City and got caught in a hail storm 10 days ago. My hood had quite a few dimples (with a few being quite large). I also had damage on my roof, fender and hatch area. I had PDR done and am very happy with the results. They only charged $150 for the hood and there's no way you can tell there ever was hail damage. PDR is truely amazing.
