So I liked the pics of the black chrome front and fender emblems from Courtesy that were on their site, and decided to pick up a set for myself. The sides ones are terrific..a really nice satin gunmetal color that is going to look fantastic on my car. The front emblem that they also sent me does not match it at all..not even close. I called them and asked, and they said that was how they come...oh well
So, my question is, did anyone get a set of emblems from Courtesy (or anywhere) that actually matched perfectly?

The satin silver match perfect.. But dont count on any of their satin emblems lasting longer than a few months.. The paint fades on them.. I would only recommend their chrome finish emblems for now.. Unless they start clear coating the emblems.. I have sent back emblems to them and they gladly switched them out.. Chrome ftw for me..

What do you mean? you just getting the OEM emblems from nissan? I thought you said they were black chrome?
(Those chromed should last just not any satin ones.. Trust me)
Well Im glad to help you.. It pissed me off because I spent almost 300 on them emblems and they faded like ***.. Everytime I would get a slight bit of wax on the satin emblems they would fade.. PITA

I had bought the satin ones from Courtesy, and since I was not initiall happy with the color of the bumper emblem I was thinking of just going back to the stock OEM (plain silver) emblem. But, I just spent the last hour playing with some various paints on it, only to not be happy (again) and erased my work by washing the paint off in thinner. The satin finish did not fade, peel or come off at all, and if thinner can't take it off nothing will! I have no doubt these will be just as durable as the finish on oem emblems. This stuff is on there!
Happy to report though that after a thorough bath in the thinner the color muted enough where its actually now a pretty nice match for the side emblems...so I think this will end up working afterall

Well I had Silver Satin Z emblem, and the Z black emblem (with the side emblem on the burger) Both of them faded, I returned them to courtesy with a letter stating how i think they should clear coat all of them so they dont fade or discolor. Maybe they actually did it
