Default Interesting headlight retrofit. Opinions?

Really interesting look in the 350z headlight halfway down the page. I think it would be possible to retrofit a true Xenon bulb in there too... anyone had experience with retrofit headlight conversions?

Umm... bad idea.

Surf to hidplanet.com

Just FYI, it took me 3 months to get it right... and I still had to re-do my headlights.

PITA.

Haha... The clear would be too much black. Trust me, when you see them on the car it's just all kinds of blackness....

They're done now, I just wanted this kid to know that it's a major project that takes more time than most people are willing to put in.

Black on CS wouldn't be that cool. If you painted the reflector bowl only that might be interesting though.

Silverstone.

I guess it'd look alright, but the Chrome Silver looks too bright for black headlights imo.

nah, that wasn't me. I don't have any experience with fiberglass anyways.

I just mounted E46's (and later ZKW's) to the reflector bowl and built a shroud. IvoryGT is building a new set for me though.

Those ebay projectors don't look too bad... if someone wanted me to put them in I could see what I could do, but you'd probably lose your high beams unless those projectors take H4 bulbs.

It looks sharp, but there's also other black to tie into the lights (grill, wheels). It would probably look good, I just haven't seen pictures of your car yet

I'm itching to do another retrofit. PM me if you're interested.
