I finished the headliner a few months ago but did the rear strut cover today since it's raining and Im bored. I was going to paint it flat black since it reflects sunlight on the rear windshield, but decided to make it match the headliner instead. I like the outcome though.
It was my first time ever doing anything like it so it wasn't the easiest thing Ive done. It's hard to make sure you dont get wrinkles. What I did is start at the front and work my way back spraying glue in sections. It would have helped to have another set of hands as well.
It works great if your not in a hot climate...be afraid if you live in Arizona, took me all weekend, let it cure up and then on monday
the sun beatdown on the car and I had a big overhead curtain.

Well I live in FL and havent had any problems yet. I bought some really strong spray adhesive and my headliner has survived July and August in FL so I think it can handle anything.

I don't know how its possible not to get wrinkles. They'res so many curves in it! Some people suggest starting in the middle and others suggest starting from the front... I worked my way from back to front and have a few wrinkles.. but it doesnt bother me much.
