I have been looking for the horizontal molding pieces that go in the grill inside the front bumper opening on an 06 front bumper. Stock they come in Titanium color. Why doesn't anyone make these in any other finish? I was thinking CF, or matched to the body color, or god forbid chrome. I was so surprised when I couldn't find these anywhere.

 

i'm pretty sure that it is part of the bumper. not an attachment. could be wrong though.

had mine color matched when i had my front bumper re-painted. looks really good!

 

i just got an 06 bumper put on my 03 and it didn't come with the pieces, you can get them separately.

 

Yes, they are separate pieces. They can be removed and painted. If anyone wants them I can sell them mine as I removed the grille entirely from my stock bumper.

 

If they are removable it shouldnt be hard to make the CF

 

I was looking into this myself a few weeks back. Had I gotten a carbon fiber front lip I was going to try to take mine off and get them wrapped. I think it would look good.
