Reen's CF emblem filler on Chrome Silver
I had some trouble with installation of mine because when I had my NISMO wing installed and they dinged my decklid, they needed to remove my emblem to repaint. Reen and I theorized that they used a thicker tape to re-install it. My fillers were way too loose inside as a result. Reen recommended that I apply some clear packing tape to the back and then cut it flush with the emblem so as to make the filler thicker. After four layers, they fit nicely.
Well.... I have been seeing people buying those carbon fibre filler for so long.... I think I shall say something.....
About 2 years ago, I (I live in Australia) had a trip to Taiwan then my friend took me to visit one of the car accessory shop along the "Car accessory street"..... I found myself a sheet of carbon fibre (probably 3 to 4 layers with 3M adheresive at the back, in the size of 50cm x 50cm), with a very very very cheap price- less than 40 US dollars.... and you can cut that carbon fibre sheet into whatever shape you want and stick it ANYWHERE..... I seriously don't know how much did you guys pay for that 4 pieces of carbon fibre... but as long as you are aware of this and you are still happy to pay for that amount, that's cool!!!
Here are a few pics on my ex-m3, the centre console (air cond area and on-board computer area) bit were decorated by those carbon fibre sheet that I mentioned earlier!

cheers,
richie
