my door panels are F#cked(help?)
so i just bought my Z a few weeks ago one thing that bothers me is parts of the door panels are different shades of black. somebody must have used armoral or something like that on them. ive searched to see if anybody else has ran into this problem with buying a used Z but got nothing. can this be fixed somehow or should i be looking for another set of door panels to buy?

It is much better than it was a year ago, but in certain sunlight conditions, you can still see the splotchyness all over the panel. I have used everything, including, 303 cleaner, which is very good. It helped some but is still there. Have also used a soft bristle brush with the 303 to get inbetween the raised nibs on the panel. I hate the splotchy look, and hope it continues to disapate over time. If anyone else has any miricle cleaners I'm all ears.

I hear ya, it REALLY pissed me off as well. I think it will fade over time and repeated trys at cleaning, but the damn doors are stubborn as hell, I have rubbed and rubbed using 303, as well as other cleaners.

The first time try to soak the area as much as possible, but don't make soak the rag to much or soapy water will run all over the place. Keep the rag moist not soaking. Apply firm strokes slowly. This will give the soap a chance to get in all of the grooves. Afterwards use 3M and you should be good. Hope this helps.
