Default Removing splash guards

I'm thinking of buying a car that has splash guards already installed, but I prefer the cleaner look without. Are there unsightly holes left behind if I remove? Thanks.

yes but they are barely noticable. The front, holes won't be visible. The rear, you have to climb under the car to see the holes.

The holes are not a concern as has been stated but, in my experience, if they have been on for awhile, they will have worn the paint on the car around their edges and you can see the outline of them still.

Yea no holes but there will still be marks in the paint where the splashguards used to be.

I have removed the front and rear. I prefer the look as well. The screws for the front (if I remember correctly) are the same screws holding on the sides, so you will put those screws back in. The holes for the rear are along the inside of the fender and are not noticeable really. I did have an 'outline' where they used to be, but some clay bar, cleaner wax, and polish took care of that for the most part.

The dealer gave me some plugs when I bought my Z. They slip into the holes left after you remove them. Mine came with splash guards and he mentioned that most people remove just the back ones. I haven't done it yet but have the plugs.
