^ hhaha!!! You're absolutely right! Honestly, I think ALOT of ppl like it for the name. PERSONALLY, I like the look of it as well as the color scheme as it matches my interior. But I could care less how it looks after owning this. It could be purple and green for all I care, aesthetics aside, it is the best functioning **** I have ever used. Tommy Kaira did a great job with the R & D when designing this ****.

To me, it is really the weight of it and the feel the **** has in my hand. I always felt that the Nismo GT ***** were alittle off for me, even though they were very solid, it just wasn't right.

If I get a bit more time, most likely wednesday, I will take a picture of mine on the scale.

I ordered one of these from VR. I can't wait for it, but in the meantime, I've been wondering what the signifance (if any) is the logo/image of the turtle?

Well hopefully, one of those wil be a taking a slight detour to the caribbean.

... right?

Want to do me a favour and find out from them what the turtle image is for? Did the founders just like sea turtles. Lol.

Two reasons I'm asking.
1) I'm curious
2) and much more important... My g/f is going to ask me one day. "Hey, why is there a cute little turtle on the gear lever thing". I want to have a good answer other than... "because the people I paid over $200 for a peice of metal, like turtles." Lol!

Of course one of them is going to you Travis =) Including yours, we had 3 spoken for and 1 that is currently pending as of today. These things go real fast heh.

I was going to ask if you wanted a shift plate as well, since I am ordering one for myself =) PM me if you need anything else.

I'm going to regret not asking this privately, but what is a shift plate?

I was actually seeing where some people have the little spacer under the **** (which I hear doesn't come with the ****, but should at the price. lol).

On your own, do you have the spacer? Without the spacer will it look funny?

What I was considering is the EVO-R centre console. But I just read someone having some issues with fitment and quality. Yours looks good, did you have to make a lot of adjustments?

*Sorry for taking up Synth19's post*

The shift **** comes with a sticker shift plate, however the one I am speaking about is the Metal one that Tommy Kaira sells.

I do have a spacer, you can PM me for more information on that one. The Evo-R cf kit usually not have have any fitment issues.

My personal car was custom painted, so fitment was perfect heh.

Oh. I thought it was something functional.

Kidding. No, I'll pass on the metal plate. I probably won't even put the sticker on either.

A Yes, on the shifter spacer. Even if it doesn't need it, it certainly does 'complete' the look on yours.

As for the EVO-R kit. I'm goin to pass. It's easy for you guys in USA to make adjustments, or even send back goods you don't like. For me it's a pain in the a$$. Usually when I get screwed on quality, I just have to suck it up.

The first VS bonnet I ordered, it came broken. I get nothing back because nobody knows who's fault it is. I even ordered a ASUKA Design bonnet, but I got a VS bonnet instead. I just recently found out it's because the ASUKA was stolen at customs and the guy I ordered it through, forgot that I had wanted ASUKA and ordered a VS bonnet to replace it. At least he took the loss on that.
