they're just keeping it fresh, for everyone one they discontinue they release a new one.

 

Look at the 08 lineup and show me "fresh"

Sliver alloy: grey just like 4 million grocery getters
San Marino Blue: Sorry but it looks like my sisters minivan
Nogaro Red: Been down the arrest me red path once...
Magnetic Black: Looks great clean but nasty the rest of the time (I have a black Lightning)
Pikes Peak White: Once again looks great clean but 5 minutes later...
Carbon Silver: grey woo give me a civic...

There is nothing "fresh" in the 08 lineup...

That was what I was shooting for with my next Z but when the stealership called today they let me know it was no longer offered. I then checked with nissan and my #2 choice is also disco...

I agree. I'm searching for an '07 for this reason. Nogaro Red is nice, but that's the only one that's not a sedan color. There are only 6 colors available in 2008. In every previous year there were 8.

 

you can't go wrong with the PPW. Beautiful color. I do agree the "BEST" colors have been discontinued:

other than that, when i got my 07, if they had LeMans Sunset, I probably would have gotten that.

 

I think PPW is the nicest color on a Z, but such a ***** to match if you plan on doing aftermarket aero stuff.

08 by far is the worst year for colors I agree. All the cool, flashy colors are gone except for red. 2/3 of them are shades of grey...

 

If you haven't notice, they stopped those colors because of preference. They have to choose colors that most people would like. Colors like yellow, orange, blue, those colors are hated by a lot and liked by a few whereas silver or white are more popular will most people.

 

I love the fact that my Ultra Yellow is hard to get
