A few days after having my '07, I found this part wedged in beside my driver's seat and door jamb area. I have no clue where it came from! Anyone have an idea?

looks like some sort of hinge cover. maybe. no idea. haha

 

I second the diagram question... where can you get a Haynes manual for the Z? Or is there a brand that others like more?

I am gonna go outside tonight and comb over my interior and see if I can find where this piece belongs. Hopefully there is a symmetrical part on the passenger side to help in my search.

 

My guess would be on front or back of the seat rail.

REAR SEAT BELT

 

That def goes on the rear seatbelt. Make sure you put it back on.

Nothing gets past some people.... see the diagram in the post 2 above yours, the name for this piece from NiSSan is labeled REAR SEAT BELT. So I have to guess this is for the REAR SEAT BELT MOUNTING POINT, or at least that is what diagram shows.


But just to be sure you might want to inspect every inch of space in your Z car behind the seats ......as the NiSSan engineers are probably not as smart as u.
