Default Cusco roll cage + harness bar, question

First I'd like to say this thread is not about the use / legitity of a cusco roll cage.

I just want to ask from members that own the cusco dash escape roll cage if a sparco harness bar or a bcr harness bar clears the back 2 piping. I looked at a dozen pictures of harness bars and the cusco roll cage itself and it seams really close that a harness bar clears the back 2 supports to the quarter panel.

anyone run a harness bar with this roll cage?
if so what kind of harness bar is it?

thank you all! Now DONT ARGUE about the roll cage

I have both only problem is Im not home to have the BCR installed with the cusco(already in).

I know the TECH tried the cusco with the sparco and it didn't work, but he was running the seventh bar or rear cross bar. From the pictures I've seen of the BCR and where it bolts up to and where the bars for the cusco crosses the seat belt bracket, it should fit.

well Im bumping this thread to see if anybody has anymore info on the subject.

I test fitted my BCR bar today and it looks like its not going to fit, without removing the rear two bars of the Cusco cage.

I'm pretty certain a member here in Houston SN Toxic used a sparco HB w/ a cusco roll cage w/o the option bar and got it to work. Try PMing him.

dont have the back 2 pices in yet since i need a new sound system but i test fitted and they clearly pass it no problem. sorry for the ruff pics but wasnt really taking pictures of the bar. the bar is 4 point and the front mounts attach to seat bracket bolts next to the center console. they did not restrick seat movement but i do have bucket seats. seats are FX1 wide they are widest bucket seats u can fit in the Z, they are for fat ppl like me.

I mean, it looks really nice, but it's not approved by any of the racing organizations for track use. What's the point?

If I'm not mistaken, the Cusco cage can be modified so that it is legal. But I agree, at that point, a custom cage might be better.

I have the Cusco cage, and I've been talking with Darren at Intense, and I believe Cusco has a universal bar that will bolt to the rear portions. In either the blue finish or you can get them in carbon.

You just have to measure the the opening in the rear since it can very. I'm ordering one this week so I will let you know.
