Default JDM Nismo Sides w/ USDM Nismo Rears - Pics?

UPDATE - Just installed the Nismo USDM Rear Lips

Pics on page 2!

Hey guys,

I absolutely can't stand it any longer. After looking for months for a set of USDM rears I finally purchased one. There is something about thew JDM Nismo rear lips that is sexy but not "complete" for me. Though I prefer the JDM's side skirts more because of their more subtle bulges when compared to the USDM ones, the USDM rear pieces have always looked a bit more "complete" for me. Does anyone feel the same way?

I pulled the trigger without pics so you know I feel pretty strong about making the switch. If anyone got pics of JDM sides and USDM rear lips though please post them

Gonna get them painted and hopefully installed Friday!

UPDATE - Just received the Nismo USDM Rear Lips in the mail today Please excuse the DIRTY Z because I just drove though the Seattle storm

yeah I'm torn between the JDM and USDM. I agree that the USDM looks more complete. Besides the urethane castings being more suitable for roads around NJ, the bulges make the Z look more curvy and burly and I like that. With spacers, which I also intend on getting, it gives the car a more robust look without making it look ricey or overdone. They're less subtle then the JDM's, but still nice.

I want the full Nismo kit tho, the Nismo V1/V2 front bumper is a little more JDM looking than the USDM sides though. It's been a tough decision

I'm interested to see your pics

I believe the JDM ones are really round and the USDM one's are the ones you see on the silver Z above. I don't know about the rears though.

Edit: Please ignore my stupidity.

The difference is:

USDM Kit:
-Sides the bulged out lines past the middle line that flows horizontally with the body.
-Rear pieces are bigger and flows upward, appearing to be more conformed with the rear bumper
-Wing has a thicker center piece and the tips of the wing does not appear to touch the hatch. The center piece also droops downwards into the base.

JDM Kit:
-Sides are more subtle and the bulges appears below the horizontal line that flows parallel with the body.
-Rear pieces are smaller and does not go upward as much hence does not "form" with the rear bumper nearly as much
-Wing has a flat top piece and the tips appears to touch the hatch. The center blade also appear to be thinner than the USDM version

Note, this is my friend Eric's car. He has USDM sides, JDM REAR, and the USDM Wing

True to a certain point

USDM:
-03 to 05 front lip only
-v3 front bumper sides, rear bumper & wing (07 Nismo Z)

JDM:
-v1 front bumper, v1 wing
-v2 front bumper, v2 (available with canards)
-v1/v2 shares the SAME sideskirts
-v3 JDM front bumper has NO side markers & available with canards - sides rear wing are the same as the USDM on the v3

Wow i learned something new I always had thought the JDM ones were the really rounded ones not the squared off edged ones.

First USDM things i've liked.

The rears on the USDM's are too low and don't line up with the sides, stick with your JDM style rears and have them fitted correctly

They fit just fine (it looks weird because my previous installer didn't use good tape lol so the tape was peeling) but I like the way the usdm ones go up further into the bumper.

Well do whatever you were complaining about them and don't put the USDM ones on IMO. It looks fine now
