Does anyone know where I can get the little black rubber piece that fits between the shift boot and the shift **** itself? You can see what I mean in the picture.

Don't mind the red arrow, it was just in the picture that I found.

It's all I want for Christmas...

 

You can pick up a floor protector that fits the legs of a kitchen type chair. They come in different sizes , beige or black in color at Home Depot. Just have to cut out the closed end (rubber) with a razor blade and slide over the gear shaft. You can only buy them in sets of four so if you don't get the cut right the time, you'll have three more chances......actually it's very easy to accomplish.
