it's not competition, it's theft. a replica isn't taking the spirit of the design and coming up with something new or using it as a basis for a new design. this is buying the original product and making a direct mold to steal someone else's work.

amuse isn't creating this to compete against somebody else stealing their design and selling it cheaper because they don't have the r&d cost. they're aiming to compete against other high end Japanese tuners.

After looking at the price... don't count us in just yet .

I would think most guy would be interested in the rear fenders if they were interested in the front fenders. However, the rear fenders seem to only work with that particular rear bumper, which is not too attractive to most.

This is definitely not an anytime soon thing.

Easier said than done. As has been discussed replicas are problematic on several levels. That being said we all know MONEY is the main problem here. Consumers are trying to save it and proprietors are trying to get more of it. I'm sure ther are many people on these boards that don't really like to support the replica industry, but how does someone with financial obligations bills etc participate in the modding world if they don't find some corners to cut?? Just trying to be honest.

I would be in for the front bumper, fenders and sides. Not a fan of the rear.

^^ Look at the article. Its a 380RS Supperleggera. 380RS=Nismo 380RS in japan. 3.8 liter 350bhp. Amuse is just bulking up the body for the 380RSin collaboration w/ Nismo. Trust me, in japan, there are no such things as knock-offs and Amuse definitely do not make replicas. Research before you make a bold stateement like that.

i was being sarcastic. moroccan mole was saying that about potential replicas being made of this kit.

although the rear bumper of the amuse is nearly identical to the Nismo Z's rear bumper. which came first?

hmm...maybe nismo is making replicas of Amuse? DOWN WITH NISMO!!!! FAKE! COPIES!!

Mastergrade's hood is moving along faster then anticipated. Hoping to have a prototype done next week.
