didnt have that problem with my OEM style VIS CF on my 02 accord.
I knew that the Invader CF from VIS has always been like that, having a small gap between the hood and the rest of the car...
should have gone with SEIBON!

Hate to say it but you get what you pay for. VIS has had numerous fitment issues.

Ouch, that is a hell of a gap.

Is it just where the hood latch connects that keeps it from going down further?

Did you drop those hood alignment plugs in the engine bay? I dunno what they are called, but I dropped those on an old truck I had and had a better fit on the hood.

Like many have said, should have gone with Seibon.

Try adjusting your latch catch.

only nissan owners may really catch the gap anyway.
go to most car shows and if the person doesnt own the car, they usually dont catch stuff like that.

Adjusting the latch catch is the most common adjustments needed for any car when installing an aftermarket hood. I've seen numerous threads on these forums about your same problem. MOST of the fitment issues you see with aftermarket hoods are due to improper installation.

OR
1.)you could do like the manufacture says and get PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION.
2.) get hood pins
