From your post a few up from here, it looks like you may have already made up your mind, but I'm going to post anyway 
. I don't think the Red/Yellow combination would look awful if you do it right. It would certainly be different and not everybody's cup of tea, but I don't think it's the worst color combination possible... You'd absolutely set yourself apart! Just my $.02 
If you did do it, I think these wheels would be perfect for your Z!
(I actually posted in this thread that I don't think they'd look good on Ultra Yellow, but (as I mentioned above) if done right...

BTW: I already have those Volk GT-F's on my Z. I just haven't painted the spokes .....YET!!
