Love my Ti one, not a fan of the black plastic addition to the base seen above though!

You should take the **** and top mounted screw off. Leaving you with the piece that is on your shifter. Tighten it as tight as you can or until you feel it's tight enough.

Then place the actual shift **** on the shifter and turn the NISMO etching to where ever you want it to face. After that take the top mounted bolt and screw it down as tight as you can (without stripping it). You can also use lock-tight on both pieces that screw to keep them locked down.
