I bought the Belkin Air Vent Style Cell phone holder.

I place it on the vent to the right of my steering wheel and it holds the phone in the perfect spot. It's within reach and I can see who's calling me. It even fits my large Nokia 6600.

Be careful, I used a vent mount on another car and ended up breaking a couple of vent fins..........Dave

I will, I use both hands to pull the holder apart so it won't stress the vent when I put the phone in.

lol!!! I have a Morola RazR and i have been through a couple of places to fit me phone, I used to put it in the supholders in the center console( then I decided to bondo over those and paint it, lol. Then sometimes ill set it on my passenger seat, but if I gas it around a corner it will go under my sear and i will think its lost. Sometimes it ends up up by my sunglass holder, but it doesnt fit good, ir i gas it its gone, lol. Then i put it under my dvd screen, but if i gas it, its gone, lol. IDK what to do, lol. so alot of times i put it in between my legs, lol.

Bluetooth unit for my kenwood dnx7100. Best mod i ever got. Kepp my phone in my pocket, jacket, booksack doesnt matter. When i get a call music is muted i touch the screen anywhere and bam talking. For long trips i put in it the cup holder in center dash pick it up use the voice name thing to auto dial then put it down and it starts dialing asnd talking thru the radio. Seriously tho this is so much safer had a couple close calls shifting & turning while phone was wedged between shoulder and head.

This is where i put the mic. Works great.

Mine fits between the EB and the center console. Easy to run the charger to it as well. Does not interfer with use of EB.

I bought this cushiony thing that's about the size of a coke can at Oreily's Auto Parts. It has a little slot in the center designed to hold a cell phone. I used a box cutter to cut it in half, and keep it in my center console cup holder. Since it's sliced in half, it allows you to close the console lid without removing it....

I'm using a Kuda mount in mine + iPhone holder.

It's a small picture but yeah -- bit on the pricey side, I suppose.

That looks nice, probably the best one ive seen yet . I was hoping for something similar but on the opposite side. If i cant find anything or an easy way to make one i might just go with this one.

I felt the same way as you (about what side it's on), but after having this one for some time, I think that having it on the drivers side would just get in the way of driving and using the A/C controls. It's really not a very long stretch to reach my phone. It's a good unit, but it does require putting a screw into your trim piece down on the bottom, if that makes a difference for you.

I put mine in the compartment with the sliding cover just to the right of the e-brake. The cover has enough friction to hold it in place.
