Does this pic have the resistor wires for the works bell hub ( ebay)
From e-bay it comes with one resistor and 2 prongs does that count ha.
I got my NRG off e-bay for about $80 shipped and was very surprised at the quality. Very nice, so I don't mind buying the extra resistor.
If Z1 still has that package hub, QR and wheel combo in the classified for $500 shipped and you like that wheel, you should get that one. I already had my wheel, that I liked. I got wheel, hub and release for $440 total, except for 2nd resistor. So for 60 bucks more you could get BOTH resistors, the steering wheel and the Bell QR, which is better than the NRG hub, from what I've heard, then you'd be ballin' or whatever.

Generally under $700 delivered for the steering wheel, the Works Bell Quick release and Works Bell short Hub (final combo price depends on the wheel you pick). You get the satisfaction of knowing you have the best stuff out there for the job, that is intended to work together seamlessly, and it totally transforms the interior of the car. And it comes from one place
None of this part a from this guy, part b from this guy, but oh, he didn't ship it in time or shipped the wrong part, etc. There is a reason that we've sold more steering wheel + Works Bell combos on here than anyone else
If you chose to get the NRG quick release, its even less money (I've never used that piece so, so no idea about it's quality, etc) - I know the hub that they 'say' works with the Z, doesn't, as we've sold TONS of hubs to people on this site alone, where the conversation starts with "Hi, I bought an NRG hub from another vendor, they told me it fits, and they say I have to remove the clockspring.....what do I do" lolololol. In other words, their hub does not work for a Z, they buy the Works Bell one from us, which works perfectly, and viola, in business !

i'm not an electrical wizard, but this is my thought on why the 2.2 ohm resistor that comes with the hub also has a fuse attached to it.
if you ever did get into an accident, the crash sensors send an electrical signal to trigger the air bag. the fuse will pop and stop the signal there. without a fuse, the electrical signal might be sent to ground and damage something else.
the resistor tricks the system into thinking the airbag is there. the fuse acts as the airbag in case it gets triggered.
did i make any sense?

Can I order one of these at my local dealer?

I orderd mine from perforamnce Nissan. 20 bucks shipped. They say they should get more in next week.
If I get the flashing light, I'm gonna pick up a nice ice pick and gouge the light out of the instrument panel
All I'm waiting on is the resistor and my e-brake lever (should be deliverd Monday) so I can finish my interior. whoo whoo.http://www.mynismo.com/categories/?id=4985

radioshaft didnt have any 2.0ohm resistors at the time i went, however they did have a pack of 10 ohms... so i made my airbag resistor 2.0 ohms by putting five 10ohm resistors in parallel. i think they were 1/4W.
you can find specifically 2.0 ohm or 2.2 ohms from your specialty electronics stores. i'd stay 1/4W.
whatever you do. DO NOT GET A 2.0K or 2.2K ohm.

Flashing Blinking Airbag Warning Light Reset Procedure
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
1. Turn the key from off to on.
2. Watch the airbag light closely. It will stay on for a few secs. and then as soon as it blinks off (the start of the flashing), turn the key off instantly.
3. Count to 5 (1 Mississippi, 2 Mississippi . . . .)
4. Repeat steps 1-3 two more times until you have done the cycle three times.
5. Now turn the key on and watch the light. It will start blinking in a different, slower manner. This is diagnostic mode. You can watch this for a little while, no hurry.
6. Now turn the key off again, Count to 5 like in step 3 again, and turn back on. If the procedure worked, the airbag light will not be flashing
