Too tall? Ever been or seen a race car?

The higher the shift lever the less distance your hand has to travel off the steering wheel. You should have seen the Grp. A/DTM setup in my old E30 M3. Short shifts, tall lever, beautiful white delrin **** but ***-rapingly expensive.

My wife and I live in Arizona, so the metal plate on top of the OEM MT shift **** gets hot when the car is left parked in the sun. The wife wants a different shift **** that doesn't have metal where her hand would go. So I'm looking for a shorter **** made of black leather and no metal. The only options I've found are 1) the Nismo leather shift ****, 2) the MOMO Anatomic short leather shift ****, 3) the MOMO Combat Evo carbon/black, or 4) the MOMO Combat Evo blue/black (our Z is DB). What do you think of these *****? Do you have any other suggestions for a leather/non metal ****??
MOMO Combat Evo blue/black
I like the MOMO Combat Evo blue/black out of all of the choices given...

Yes, too tall. My family has owned everything from Testarossas to Vettes to Vipers. I don't race my car on a track, so none of that matters to me. Sorry
