HELP: Problem w/ changing Highbeams
Hi guys and girls,
Yesterday I was trying to change my high beam bulbs because one of them was burnt out.
I changed the driver side one fairly easy, but when I tried to change the passenger side one I ran into a problem.
So I jacked up my car and peeled off the wheel well cover with no problem, but when i tried to unscrew the grey cover it would not unscrew. I was screwing counter clockwise for at least 5 turns. It was very very hard to turn. I followed the direction on the grey cover. I think the cover is stuck.
Has anyone ever had this problem before? This was that my bulb was burnt out. what should i do now? I do not want to bring it to the stealership because they quoted my 160$ for changing my high beams.
Thank you in advance

Do you mean the big round gray plastic cover kept spinning? I've run across a few sets of lights that have just kept spinning as well. Every single time it's been because the rubber seal around it had gone missing. If this is true for you too, you need to turn it a bit, then pull, turn it a bit more, then pull... Keep doing this until you have all the pegs in the right spot and it should pop right off.
Give that a try and let me know if that helped at all.
